FAQ
-
Can you customize a lesson to fit what my children are currently learning about?Yes! With seven years of experience teaching art in a school setting, creating art lessons that blended seamlessly with what students were learning in other classes was one of my favorite things to do. Whether you have a specific artist or time period you would like to focus on, or you'd like to have a workshop that emphasizes a specific concept, I am happy to work with you. Contact Kallos Arts today and let's talk about what you'd like to do.
-
Do I need to supply my own art supplies for the workshop?Nope. We will bring everything needed to complete a beautiful piece of art for each participant. All you need to provide is a space to create. We'll even bring tablecloths and take care of clean up.
-
How many participants are needed to hold a workshop? You will need at least 10 participants to book a workshop.
-
What if I had 10 participants and one or more gets sick or is unable to make it?If you know ahead of time that you won't be able to meet the minimum number of participants, please let us know and we will work with you to arrange a makeup date for your workshop. Otherwise, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to work with you.
-
What if I need to cancel the workshop? We understand that even with the best intentions, sometimes life happens and you may need to cancel a workshop. We ask that you give us 48 hours notice if possible. We are also happy to help you find another time to reschedule your workshop.
-
What is the maximum number of participants you can accommodate in a workshop? We prefer to keep the workshops to 15 or fewer participants.
-
Are you able to accommodate students with special learning needs?Usually. Having worked in a school setting for seven years, I am experienced in working with students with many different learning styles. If you have a student or students who require special accommodations, please reach out ahead of time and we can discuss how they can participate.
-
How long is a typical workshop? Most of our workshops run about 2 hours. They may run shorter or longer depending on the speed of the participants.
