About Kallos Arts

Kallos Arts provides in-home workshops centered around the True, the Good, and the Beautiful where people of faith can deepen their relationship with God through engagement with the arts.

We foster encounters with beauty through workshops and summer camps that seek to draw you closer to God.

We believe that all people are created in the image of God and are therefore inherently creative beings and that each encounter with beauty deepens our knowledge of God and develops a longing for the divine.

Kallos Arts owner, Miranda McClain

Kallos Arts Founder

Miranda McClain taught 1st through 12th grade art at a small, Catholic, private school for over five years. In that time she found joy in watching her students grow closer to God through exploring their own inherent creativity. Kallos Arts workshops are the first step toward achieving her dream of opening The Kallos Art Center, a place that fosters encounters with beauty through offering lessons and workshops in the visual and performing arts as well as providing events such as performances, lectures, and summer camps and supports local artists through strengthening community and providing space to work, gather, and share.

Testimonials

"We hired Miranda for an art party with our friends and everyone had a blast! She took into account our various skill levels and experience and guided us in a variety of techniques, painting images of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, on canvas in acrylics. Everyone had a great time and the paintings have been hanging on our mantle ever since."
